Are you certified?
Yes, I am Certified Permanent Makeup Artist with over 10+ years of experience.
What is Permanent Makeup and How Does it Work?
Permanent makeup is a procedure that involves the application of pigments to enhance facial features. It is a technique that mimics the appearance of makeup, such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color. The process involves the use of a specialized tattooing device or manual handheld tool to inject the pigment into the skin's epidermis/dermal layer.
Does it hurt?
Everyone has a different level of sensitivity so topical anesthetics are applied before and during the treatment to alleviate any sensation or discomfort.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. I use sterilized, disposable needles and supplies during the process.
Will I need a touch up?
Yes. Within a week of your first treatment the color will fade significantly and over the next four to six weeks can continue to fade as much as 50%. This is considered an extremely positive occurrence as it allows you time to reflect on your shape and color. After this period your follow-up appointment is carried out. At this point any changes you would like to make are discussed.
